All aboard for round 2. SOOO many Harry Potter World pictures. There could’ve been more, honestly, there was just so much to see! Here I am at Platform 9 3/4, smiling goodbye!
All aboard! Behind us is the line to get into the train to check out the compartments and props used for those scenes.
Our very own Hogwarts Express adventure- minus the treats trolley 🙁
Here’s the set for Ron’s house. Check out the mismatched chairs, Molly’s outfit on the right, Fred and George (twins forever!) in the center, and all the cool details that made their house a home for everyone.
I particularly love the Weasley’s clock that told you where everyone was. I read somewhere that someone was going to make it into an actual thing you can buy. I wonder what happened to it?
Dolores Umbridge was the witch we all loved to hate and here is her creepy, kitten-infested pink office. I think the pink tiles and the brass touches on everything are pretty cool, though.
Here’s the “I shall not tell lies” quill! The only dark thing on a table full of white and pink.
Here I am holding a chocolate toad!
These Death Eater masks are creepy and unique–each one of them is different, designed specifically for the face that lies beneath.
Taking a lunch break and trying out first butterbeer- sweet and bubbly, as expected!
All aboard the Knight Bus!
This is where Harry Potter grew up!!
Checking out some hippogriff action!
Another gorgeously detailed model of Hogwarts. Sigh.
Another model, to scale. I think this what what they used to get the panoramic shots of the school. Amazing, simply amazing.
Sarah made a friend in the gift shop. She toted him around for a bit, but ultimately decided the only white fluffy pet she needed was Mochi.
And the boxes and boxes of wands, each named for someone who worked on the films. Who do you see here?
And that’s a wrap for my Hogwarts tour! If you’re in England and have time, go check it out! Bring snacks (the food is kinda pricey) and take your time going through the whole thing. I would’ve loved to spend a couple more hours perusing the sets and props. There is so much to see. I hear the chocolate wands at the gift shop are only to be had at the Studio Tour, too!
